Steven Paul "Elliott" Smith (August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter and musician. Smith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised primarily in Texas, and resided for a significant portion of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he first gained popularity.

pointed out that there was no Duracell bunny, it’s
the Energizer bunny. There was a moment of
surprise that no one had pointed this out before, then he laughed and added exclamation points
around the word “Duracell” on the lyric sheet. He
